Extends enduring relationship with Lelystad Challenge
Last week Rini Schoutsen, director Lelystad Airport Businesspark (LAB) and Aswin Frenay, board member Lelystadse Uitdaging, signed the renewal of LAB’s sponsorship contract with the Lelystadse Uitdaging. The Lelystadse Uitdaging is an initiative that connects local businesses and social organizations. Its aim is to improve the quality of life of Lelystad residents.
Collaboration
LAB has been a sponsor and partner of the Lelystad Challenge since 2019 and has already made many beautiful, sustainable matches for Lelystad. For example, the residents of Woonzorg Flevoland enjoy the vegetable garden that was expanded by LAB with fruit trees and tools. Also the Zuiderzeewijk is now a beautiful Japanese Sierkers richer. This tree was a donation to the M.I.L.A. Foundation (Met Inzet Lukt Alles).
The Lelystad Challenge is Lelystad’s “social connector” between people, community organizations and the local business community.
“In recent years we have worked closely together to improve the quality of life of Lelystad residents. As LAB we like to deepen this cooperation with the Lelystad challenge in this area and we want to involve not only the residents of Lelystad, but also the companies on LAB. What are the possibilities for improvements and what can we do for them? It is great that we as LAB can contribute to this!” said Rini Schoutsen.
