SOUTHERN ACCESS ROAD WORKS
The Southern Access Road will have its final shape after this week
AIRPORT BUSINESS PARK (LAB). THIS INCLUDES WIDENING THE EXISTING MEERKOETENWEG REALIZING THE SECOND PHASE OCHOAWEG AND CONNECTING A6 DISTRICT ON THE ANTHONY FOKKERWEG (N727). THE ASPHALTING WORK RELATED TO THE WIDENING OF THE MEERKOETENWEG WILL BE COMPLETED AT THE END OF THIS WEEK.
Lelystad Airport Businesspark is in full development and good infrastructure is essential for this. Therefore, in cooperation with the municipality of Lelystad, the Meerkoetenweg has been widened from 3.70 meters to 6.50 meters, so that traffic can pass safely and businesses can be better reached. The work is being carried out by KWS Infra.
In addition to widening Meerkoetenweg, the second phase of Ochoaweg will also be constructed. This will optimally connect the A6 District business park with Meerkoetenweg, Anthony Fokkerweg (N727) and the freeway (A6).
After asphalting, finishing the verges, installing light poles and planting greenery and trees will follow.
