In cooperation with Lelystad Municipality, local residents and main contractor KWS, OMALA N.V. (as area developer of Lelystad Airport Businesspark) designed this infrastructural work. During this project, the former Meerkoetenweg was widened from 3.70 meters to 6.50 meters in order to improve traffic flow and safety and make businesses more accessible. In addition, the second phase of the Ochoaweg was constructed. As a result, the business park and Meerkoetenweg, are optimally connected via the Anthony Fokkerweg (N727) and the freeway (A6).
