Tijdens het netwerkevenement van LAB begin juni gaven de jongeren van de Lelystadse Boer al een presentatie over hun project op LAB. We geven graag meer inzicht in dit mooie project.<\/p>\n

Jongerenproject op LAB<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Het project van De Lelystadse Boer<\/a> is een samenwerking tussen agrarische jongeren uit de omgeving. Veertien jongeren van 17 tot 24 jaar bewerken ruim 14 ha biologische akkerbouwgrond op Lelystad Airport Businesspark. Op het terrein verbouwen ze rode bieten, gele uien, aardappels, mais, pompoenen, broccoli en tarwe. Daarvoor worden machines gebruik van hun thuisbedrijven. Lees meer in dit artikel<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Doelen van het jongerenproject<\/strong><\/h3>\n

De jongeren willen graag bijdragen aan een succesvolle Lelystadse Oogstdag. Jaarlijks kunnen buurtbewoners tijdens de Oogstdag ontdekken waar hun voedsel vandaan komt, hoe de gewassen groeien en hun eigen producten oogsten. Verder willen de jongeren komend jaar verder experimenteren met verschillende opties voor beregening en groenbemesters om de bodemstructuur van de grond te verbeteren.<\/p>\n
